07.08.2019 today we had two more bitches neutered from the neighboring village. Now 4 already confirmed bitches are waiting for money to flow back into our cash register. Can we keep our word before they can possibly produce offspring?

24.07.2019 a small catastrophe has occurred. All pictures of the last 5 weeks are broken. So also those of the two bitches we had neutered today from the neighbouring village. I still hope for a rescue of the data and have put the memory card aside in the hope to be able to present these pictures...

01.08.2019 Shadow looks better, but her breathing is really terrible at times. Nevertheless, she is cheerful and likes to stick her nose in mouse holes. Catching, leashing or muzzle is still not possible, but at least crawl from front to back! If I want to look something up or try to remove her fringe, it still snaps. The vet said today that we need to extend the treatment. With such a persistent, long untreated inflammation, no breakthrough can be expected within these few days.

03.08.2019 good news! Jojo got a ticket to a nice home and left! We wish the pretty boy with his beautiful ears a great new life in western Europe! Thank you very much for making it possible for you to take good care of the dog and to be able to hand it over to another club!

04.05.2019 This friendly flat coated retriever was tied to a tree in front of the shelter. he has fungi on his ears that need to be treated. He was given tablets and cream for a week and then we switched his treatment to Simparica because, for organizational reasons, daily treatment is unfortunately no longer possible. After consulting the veterinarian, we hope that by eliminating all parasites, he will develop sufficient defenses to get rid of the fungus.

Romania always holds special surprises and so we came to an animal shelter with a bitch in heat and four uncastrated males. We see it positively, because it shows how urgently our help is needed. Quickly resorted to to stop the worst stress among the dogs, we expected our first visitors. Gaby and Ralf worked hard for a week to make our first castration campaign a success. In only one week we got four abandoned dogs and also only a very short overview of the streets of the city reveals that no castrations have been carried out for a long time. We did not even go to the surrounding villages, because there was no time for that.

06.05.2019 4 bitches were neutered, among them the little one with the leg injury, who is still waiting for placement in Germany, because she is very emaciated and has no chance of placement in Romania. Two more bitches, which I caught from the street. One of them was placed and the other one is back on the street with clip. The fourth was already in the shelter and is still there. Extraordinary 4 males came on the table because they were already in the shelter and combined with a bitch in heat they spread stress. One of them was put with clip back to the gas station where he is fed. 2 were already at the shelter for a few weeks (Rusty and Andy, whereas Andy was already reserved and was immediately picked up by the new owner to guard his fish farm from birds of prey). I have the address and drive in a quiet minute for a follow-up check). One of them was freshly exposed in front of my eyes and those of our visitors (Jojo).

07.05.2019 A bitch, which is fed in a courtyard of a car repair shop, also got a clip and could be brought back. The reunion was great!
The action was canceled because a poisoned dog came in as an emergency. (Addendum: we were able to save him, although there was little hope.)
